The Legacy Behind “Christopher Robin” & Friends

Christopher Robin

“Silly old bear.”

August is soon approaching and if you’re thinking of “what to do, what to do, what to do,”  may I suggest some delicious “hunny” and a reminiscent trip to the Hundred Acre Wood? Based on the beloved characters created by A.A Milne, Christopher Robin is about to release and tickets are now available.

To commemorate this, Disney has released an interview explaining the legacy behind Winnie the Pooh and friends, which can be viewed below.

Per Disney, Christopher Robin is:

“a heartwarming live action adventure, the young boy who shared countless adventures with his stuffed animal friends in the Hundred Acre Wood has grown up and lost sight of what’s important in life. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasure in life once again.”

Fan of Winnie the Pooh? This “Adventure” sneak peek will sure make you fall in love with this silly old bear all over again.

Is anyone crying over the adorable depiction of Winnie the Pooh especially, or is that just me? Combine that with the all-too-familiar voice (voiced by Jim Cummings in the film) and my nostalgic heart can’t take it. Oh bother!

What are you most looking forward to seeing in Christopher Robin? And do you have a favorite friend of Christopher Robin’s?

Christopher Robin is released into theaters on August 3rd, 2018!
