Fear the Walking Dead season 4 return date revealed

Fear the Walking Dead MorganAfter the heartbreaking mid-season finale, Fear the Walking Dead is set to return to our screens in mid-August, according to AMC.

The first eight episodes of the season introduced us to fascinating new characters, allowed a veteran from the main show to cross over, showed us a new group of villains, a new doomed community (the baseball stadium), and two major, shocking deaths (leaving only one Clark left standing). It’s been an eventful ride so far but there seems to be no sign of relaxing for this zombie apocalypse drama. The next half of the fourth season will be premiering in a couple of months so we won’t have to wait too long to find out what happens to the characters. We’re hoping that their fates will not be too dire. But then again, this is Fear the Walking Dead and no one can ever be safe.

Here’s the synopsis of what’s to come on the show (from Bleeding Cool):

“The first half of season four began with one figure huddled around a campfire, and ended with nine. Characters who started their journeys in isolation collided with each other in unexpected ways and found themselves in one of the last places they ever expected to be…together. In the back half of the season they will explore who they are now – as individuals and as part of the greater group – and how they will forge ahead. They will find themselves pitted against new adversaries – human, walker, and even nature itself. Theirs will be a journey wrought with danger, love, heartbreak, loss, and ultimately, hope.”

The show currently stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, and Jenna Elfman. Executive producer is Scott M. Gimple and showrunners are Andrew Chambliss, Ian Goldberg, Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd, and Greg Nicotero.

Don’t miss Fear the Walking Dead on August 12 on AMC.
