Westworld Season 2 has advance screenings in 3 US cities

Westworld season 2Ahead of the second season premiere of HBO’s critically acclaimed sci-fi drama, Westworld, the show will also be projected at specially designed venues in San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Boston.

According to a press release by HBO, cast members Simon Quarterman and Shannon Woodward will join fans in special advanced screenings of the show’s highly-anticipated second season. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session and an in-world after party styled as the Mariposa Saloon.

Here is the official description of the event:

“HBO will bring a taste of Sweetwater to San Francisco on April 18 (AMC Kabuki 8 and The Pearl), Philadelphia on April 21 (Franklin Institute) and Boston on April 22 (Revere Hotel Boston Common). At each premiere event, guests will partake in a personality assessment to determine whether they receive a black or white hat. Attendees will then leave this world behind as they escape to Westworld, a Delos Destination, for a night free of rules, laws or judgement featuring a specially curated menu that will transport guests to Sweetwater, complete with themed cocktails and whiskey drams provided by Westward American Single Malt Whiskey®.

Limited tickets for all three Westworld premieres will be released to the general public on the official Westworld Facebook page on Friday, April 6, 2018 at noon ET.”

Westworld season 2 is described as “a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.” The first season ended with the robotic hosts taking over the park. A teaser was released during this year’s SuperBowl and another, full trailer was also released showing most of the main characters while also giving fans a glimpse of Shogun World, another theme-park based on feudal era Japan that will be feature in the story.

As previously reported, Westworld season two will premiere on April 22, 2018 on HBO.
