New ‘Infinity War’ TV Spots offer brief glimpses of new footage

It is currently only 4 weeks until the release of Avengers: Infinity War, and the marketing machine is on overdrive. New TV spots seem to be popping up almost daily, and for many this is the time to turn off the TV and YouTube, and start avoiding any new spoilers.

I am not that fan. Spoilers? I love spoilers. Especially when they are Marvel spoilers. Because we all know that a studio who won’t even give us the name of a film that has wrapped all but pick-up shots, and releases in just over a year because they’re afraid of spoilers is not going to give the game away in a few TV spots.

Of course, most of the footage has already been seen, but there’s some new nuggets even to entice those of you (read: us) who have watched the latest trailer several dozen (hundred? thousand?) times.

Comicbook.com have been so kind to put several of those new TV spots together for us, and here’s just a few new bits:

  • New Thor & Rocket Dialogue! “I think we’ll pass. Just Kidding, we’re in” Rocket may regret saying that. Though I’ll bet if they’re THREE time Galaxy savers, they’ll really be able to jack up those prices.
  • Iron Man flying, with what looks like those shiny new upgrades he’s made to his armor in play for the first time.
  • Iron Man’s new nanotech (can Shuri have helped with that? Please?), probably related to that last bullet point. But up close and looking good.
  • Context for Black Panther’s “We don’t fight for one life, we fight for all of them” line. Okoye is standing next to him. I sense a confrontation about whether or not to let the Avengers and specifically Vision and the risk that comes with an Infinity Stone into Wakanda.
  • Anyone else really wish we could get a translation into what that swearing is that Groot says to Quill? I swear a lot, and I get the feeling even I would blush.
  • “Everything you know, everything you love. It will all be gone.” Gamora’s voiceover’s about Thanos continue to become more ominous. I cannot wait for her story in this film.
  • “We don’t want to kill you, but we will.” Black Widow talking to one of the Black Order?
