WATCH: First Official Trailer Released Marvel Studios’ ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’

Get it? They’re small.

With Black Panther‘s theatrical release only a couple of weeks away, Marvel Studios has released the first official trailer for their third feature film of 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Directed by Ant-Man director Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp sees Paul Rudd return as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/The Wasp, and Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym. Joining the cast for this follow-up will be Lawrence Fishburne (Man of Steel), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), Hannah John-Kamen (Killjoys), and though not featured in the trailer, Michelle Pfeiffer (Murder on the Orient Express) will play Janet van Dyne, a.k.a. the original Wasp.

Having not seen Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang since 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp picks up off the back of that film with Scott still being considered a criminal. While Civil War concluded with Cap breaking Ant-Man and the rest of the heroes that opposed the Sokovia Accords out of prison, it seems Scott may have turned himself in and settled for house arrest. Despite this outcome, Scott, Hope, and Dr. Pym will eventually be on the run on a new mission to uncover secrets from the past.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently set to release in theaters two months following Marvel Studios’ release of Avengers: Infinity War, on July 6, 2018. Check out the first full trailer below.
