E3 2017: New Gameplay Trailer Released for ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’

Monday, June 12 Sony held their press conference at this year’s E3, showcasing several new Playstation 4 exclusive releases including an all-new God of War, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, and of course a brand new gameplay trailer for their upcoming Spider-Man game.

The 8-minute demonstration saw everyone’s favorite neighborhood webslinger take down criminals, showcasing a varied assortment of new moves and web attacks. As far as the story is concerned, it seems that not only will Peter Parker be confronted with the likes of Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, but will also go up against a criminal group known as the Demons, led by Martin Li, a.k.a. Mister Negative.

Ending off the action-packed gameplay trailer was a brief tease of Miles Morales. Introduced in 2011, Miles became Spider-Man in Marvel Comics’ Ultimate universe, though in recent years the character has crossed over into the publisher’s main universe, acting as an alternate, but equal version of Spider-Man. While Sony’s E3 trailer doesn’t show Miles suit up, the mere mention of his name and his brief appearance should be enough to make any Spider-Man fan excited.
