A new trailer for the upcoming season of Sense8 has been released by Netflix.
“Rembrandt. His name is synonymous with masterpiece, and this is arguably one of his greatest paintings. An iconic work of individuals setting aside their differences for a common good. But what we see is not what people saw hundreds of years ago. How we see changes, because our senses are evolving.”
This is how the newest trailer for the Netflix sci-fi drama, Sense8, begins.
As previously reported, Sense8 tells the story of eight individuals from all over the world who suddenly discover that they share an inexplicably powerful bond. They have shared visions and experiences and are able to communicate with each other directly in spite of geographical distance. The series was well-received by both fans and critics, and the twelve episodes of the first season were streamed by millions of viewers.
The latest episode was a Christmas special which effectively sets up what’s about to happen to our favorite sensates. The cluster is in danger and they have to stick together if they want to survive the horrors ahead.
Deadline provides a description of what’s in store for us this season:
“In Season 2, dark forces continue to track the cluster of eight connected characters. The sensates will learn more about BPO, the secret organization searching for their cluster and others like them, and will work to protect themselves from this group that is out to hunt and kill them. The new key art for Season 2 with the tagline “Survive Together” reflects their connection and bond with one another.”
Sense8 stars Doona Bae, Jamie Clayton, Tina Desai, Tuppence Middleton, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Brian J. Smith, Terrence Mann, Naveen Andrews, and Daryl Hannah.
All episodes for Sense8 season two will be released on May 5 on Netflix.
