The Last Kingdom coming to BBC America

The Last KingdomBBC America is launching an epic new original series based on Bernard Cornwell’s best-selling book series The Saxon Stories. The eight-part drama chronicles the adventures of a brave young warrior, Uhtred, played by Alexander Dreymon (American Horror Story), who is on a mission to reclaim his birthright. This exciting new show is described by BBCA as “a contemporary story of redemption, vengeance and self-discovery set against the birth of England.”
