The first trailer for Iron Man 3 is set to debut on October 23. The movie won’t premiere until May of next year, but this trailer should help those of us already going through post-Avengers withdrawals.
Filming stalled for a month and a half when Robert Downey, Jr. was injured on set but he’s back in action and production is still on track for the promised release date of May 3, 2013. Jon Favreau, the director of the first two Iron Man films, stepped down from the director’s chair, letting Shane Black take the helm, but Favreau is staying on as a producer and is set to reprise the role of Happy Hogan. Iron Man 3 will also feature new characters played by Sir Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall and Guy Pearce, and will see the return of Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle alongside Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey, Jr.
