  • Avengers UK PosterCheck out YouTube for a new The Avengers trailer, and Digital Spy have a look at the new trailer for the film. Confused by the title? Well that’s because to differentiate from the film The Avengers with that sexy vixen Emma Peel, the UK’s getting a different title. From Empire.
  • There’s a Cirque du Soleil film headed to theatres this Christmas. They had me up until the part where they said “3d conversion.” Why not just film it in 3D in the first place? ::sigh:: From Digital Spy.
  • So Ryan Murphy, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz go for lunch… No, that’s not the start of a joke, it’s the beginning of the story of One Hit Wonders, a musical apparently conceived over lunch one day this week with three ladies and Ryan Murphy (Creator, Executive Producer, & Writer for Glee, American Horror Story, Nip/Tuck… we could go on) and sold to Sony within about ten minutes. It’ll be written by Murphy’s collaborators on Glee & some other projects in various combinations, Brad Falchuk & Ian Brennan. Which means we now have our answer as to why Glee sucks so much this season; it’s writers have moved on to the next shiny object. Or three. From AVClub.
  • Suzanne Collins has apparently seen The Hunger Games and is pleased with the film. Let’s hope the fans agree with her.
  • Yahoo! Movies have the first trailer for Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie full length feature. As always it looks beautiful, but will the story live up to the visuals?
