Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Trevor Live charity benefit for an amazing organization, The Trevor Project. I’ve never been to one of these events before, and so had no idea what to expect of the audience, or the event itself. In the end it was probably one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had associated with entertainment, due to the vibe of the crowd. Everyone was so friendly, and you could feel how happy everyone was to be there supporting such an amazing cause. Suffice it to say, I will be attending next year.
The event was held at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA. This is a venue I’ve visited many a time for various concert events, but on what is normally an open floor for those concerts was now an elegant dining area. The night started out with the usual Hollywood fare of Red Carpet glamour. I was able to find a comfortable spot near the rest of the online press, but sadly most of the celebrities bypassed this area so my pictures are few.

CHRIS COLFER IS TRULY THE BIGGEST INSPIRATION NOWADAYS. WONDERFUL PERSON AND AMAZING ARTIST!
Um, could we stop pretending that Chris is some innocent shy angel. He was probably just being a diva like all the other times he avoids fans and looks like he’s going to punch papprazzi.
You’re welcome to your opinion, but I don’t share it. I’ve seen him in various situations with fans and his peers and he’s been nothing but gracious to all of them. Everyone has a bad day, and sometimes you just don’t want to deal with anyone. You can’t expect these people to be on 24/7, it’s just not reasonable. I’d like to see most people who are critical of it try it for a day. I doubt most would be able to handle it.
Thank you for that Valerie! Trevorfan sounds exactly like a certain Chris hater that plagues the Chris Colfer sites, interviews, articles etc posting her nasty comments. We tend to try and ignore her as she is just a nasty bully. Chris is a wonderful inspiration to so many and he is humble, kind and gracious to all. I think that he wasn’t seen on the Red Carpet (and also the dinner, if that was held first thing) because he was rather late. He had been at a Q & A interview with SAG and tweeted when he’d finished there that he still had to get home and get ready. That was at around the time that the Red carpet event was about to start. He most certainly would not have got there in time for the interviews on the red carpet, so that is probably why he was not in evidence there I think.
